Interacting with Officials
Public affairs is all about interacting with officials & politicians. The policy world is our natural habitat. Yet, how we interact with officials is bound by strict rules outlined in the EPACA Code of Conduct and by Internal rules laid out by the EU institutions, national and regional governments.
The Ground Rules
- Neither directly nor indirectly offer or give any financial inducement to any elected or appointed public official, or staff of their institutions and political groups
- Neither propose nor undertake any action which would constitute an improper influence on them
